Over the last few years, smoothies have become my favorite breakfast, or any other quick meal for that matter. I always keep fruit in the freezer for this very reason. One thing that I started doing recently is to freeze greek yogurt in cubes ahead of time and add 1 or two in the recipe when I’m ready. Also, adding frozen bananas makes all the difference. I’m sure you’ve heard of “Nice Cream” by now (or maybe you haven’t, look it up if you don’t), but the creamy consistency and sweetness of the frozen banana is what helps to make this smoothie so delicious.
… And yummy it is! I chose these specific ingredients because I like these by itself already and they blend together perfectly; especially since I have a high speed blender- it gets really smooth. My husband bought me this Blentec (along with a 20% coupon) for my birthday last year and it was the best gift ever. I use it at least 3-4 times a week.
Anywho, back to the smoothie… This is how I enjoy it, but of course you can change the ingredients to your liking.
